August 11-12 the chief researcher Aija Klavina participated in work meeting at the Norwegian School of Sport Science as part of the Norway Grant project „Health and Social Indicators of Participation in Physical Activities for Children with Disabilities” (NFI/R/2014/070). Also, Leo Selavo, the researcher from the project partner institution (Institute of Electronics and Computer Science) participated in the meeting. Latvian representatives met with Gunn Engelsrud, the chief of sport education department, Øyvind Førland Standal, associate professor and researcher, Kaja Stene representative of the financial department and Mette Oftebro, representative of the international office. Participants discussed methods that will be used during the 1st Work Package to determine qualitative and quantitative indicators for participation in physical activities for children with different functional limitations. All participants agreed on benefits of the interdisciplinary research team of sport science, health care and IT professionals involved in this project to strengthen human resource research and academic capacity in the partner institutions. Also, the Riga Teacher Training and Education Management Academy is involved in this project.
